TERMS, CONDITIONS & BIDDING  


HOW TO BID

When viewing an auction lot click the *Place bid* button to place your bid (you will be asked to login/create account if you hadn't done so already). The system will tell you immediately if you are the highest bidder and will also notify you if you get outbid.

We also accept bids via phone & in our showroom.

If you are the winning bidder when the auction ends, then you have won that lot!


TERMS

There is a 13.2% (gst incl) buyers premium added to the final price of a winning lot. If you are the winning bidder of a lot once the auction ends then you have won that lot and have entered into a sale agreement with Jewellery Auction House (acting as an agent for the vendor) and are required to make payment within 4 days. You will be invoiced within 24 hours of the auction ending.


POSTAGE/COLLECTION

We post all items Australia wide & International - express, with tracking and fully insured for a flat rate of $15 (free if purchasing 5+ lots) or International Post $42 AUD per order (please note additional import fees/taxes may apply in your country when your items arrive). Orders are processed every Friday and you will receive an email with the tracking information.

Collection from our Adelaide showroom also available 9:30-4:30 Monday to Friday the week after the auction finishes.


PAYMENT METHODS

We accept EFT, VISA\MASTERACRD, AMEX, Cash, After Pay & Some Crypto Currencies. (NOTE: First time customers purchases over $500 we require ID & card verification). If payment hasn't been received by the due date we may process it automatically to the card we have registered on file. 


ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS

Our auctions are held monthly and are in a *timed format* meaning they have a start date/time & finish date/time. They last for 10 days. You are welcome to come in and inspect the jewellery during the auction. Bidding can be done at anytime during the auction period either online, in-person or over the phone. When placing a bid the system will tell you immediately if you are the highest bidder and will also notify you if you get outbid. We are open 9:30-4:30 Monday to Friday for viewing in our Adelaide CBD showroom.


As 2nd generation jewellers and qualified gemmologists we inspect and test every item and guarantee every item is *as described* or your money back (must be returned within 7 days of receiving item).


RETURNS

If your item received is not 'as described' in its listing we will accept a return and issue you a full refund including postage costs (must be returned within 7 days of receiving item). We also reserve the right to withdraw a lot from sale pre, during or post auction if an error has been detected.
